Overview

Tutors support secondary school students providing direct, collaborative instructional support to students in tutorial groups. Tutors will be active participants in the learning, growth, and personal development of students with the goal of preparing students to successfully attend college and will act as role models for students.

Requirements

• Available Monday, Tuesday and Thursday during the school day.
• Current enrollment in college courses or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Education and / or Experience

High school diploma or GED

Position Details

Start Date : 2025-2026 School Year

Closing Date : Candidates will be reviewed upon submission with selection starting no sooner than five days following the posting. The position will remain open until a suitable candidate has been found.

Work Week : Part-Time. 8 : 00am-4 : 00pm Monday (8 hours), Tuesday (4 hours), Thursday (4 hours).

Hourly Pay : $17.25 per hour (Licensed teachers $19.50 / hour) per Non-Affiliated Rates of Pay

Student Level : Grades 9-12

Location : White Bear Lake Area High School
