Title : Server, Le Depot Brasserie

Compensation : $3 / hr + tips; Benefits available for full-time employees

Location : Le Depot Brasserie; Park City, Utah

Reef is a Utah-based vertically integrated investment and development firm founded in 2005, with three primary lines of business : Investments, Real Estate, and Lifestyle. Reef's team is currently involved in some of the most prominent development transactions in Utah and other targeted geographies across the United States.

Reef has partnered with a growing restaurant group led by James Beard Award Winning Chef Galen Zamarra located in the heart of Park City, Utah, an internationally renowned ski destination. Together, we have developed two new concepts : a 100 seat brasserie and bar (Le Depot Brasserie) and a French pastry & coffee shop (Union Patisserie).

Position Overview :

A Le Depot Server will create warm and hospitable dining experiences for our guests through thoughtful and anticipatory service. You will handle guest concerns with tact and diplomacy. This position will be a key player in providing our guests with knowledgeable and gracious service.

Responsibilities :

  • Warmly great guests at the table and welcome them to the restaurant
  • Explain menu items and take orders with knowledge & thoughtfulness
  • Help mediate any guest concerns and expedite concerns to through the appropriate channels as needed
  • Suggest cocktail / beverage orders and highlight a particular favorite cocktail, wine or spirit

Qualifications

  • 21 years of age or older with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • 2+ years serving experience in a fine dining restaurant.
  • Intermediate wine knowledge; knowledge of French cuisine preferred
  • The ability to remain calm under pressure and resolve problems using good judgment.
  • Utah Food Handlers and Tips certification
  • Physical Requirements

  • Stand and walk for extended periods both in dining and kitchen areas.
  • Exert physical effort in lifting stock and supplying items (1-20 lbs.).
  • Endure changes of temperature between indoor and outdoor environments
