Summary :

The Sales Engineer will play a key role in understanding customer needs, providing technical solutions, and managing the sales process from start to finish. This includes handling inquiries, presenting solutions, preparing quotes, managing orders, and providing sales support. The ideal candidate will have a mix of technical knowledge, sales skills, and the ability to build strong customer relationships to help grow the business.

Compensation : Base Salary plus Commission.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate technical solutions.
  • Handle inquiries, present solutions, prepare quotes, and manage orders.
  • Provide sales support and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Conduct sales calls, product presentations, and demonstrations.
  • Secure new business opportunities and support product integration into customer designs.
  • Manage overall customer interactions, including forecasting, CRM updates, and accounts receivable issues.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to address customer requirements.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market demands.
  • Travel as needed to meet customers, attend trade shows, and support sales efforts.

Qualifications :

  • Authorization to work in the U.S. required.
  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, or other related engineering major.
  • Technical knowledge of fiber-optic components, optical communications, and laser technology.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a proactive, results-driven approach.
  • Proficiency in using computer and office applications.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% for client meetings, trade shows, and site visits.
  • Valid driver’s license required.
