Role Description
The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant plays a pivotal role in delivering high-quality outpatient care in a fast-paced Breast and Melanoma surgical practice. Working independently and collaboratively with surgical consultants, fellows / residents, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals, this individual is responsible for providing comprehensive physical assessments, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and educating patients and their families.
This APP will work alongside another Breast and Melanoma surgery APP and multiple surgical APPs, providing care in the outpatient clinic setting. The APP will also work closely with colleagues in Plastic Surgery, Medical Oncology, and Radiation Oncology, promoting seamless collaboration and ensuring excellent patient outcomes.
This 100% outpatient clinic position offers no call, holidays, or weekends, providing an ideal balance between work and personal life.
