  • Duties : Required to supervise & provide clinical oversight as appropriate while on call.
  • Required Procedures :

    • Able to perform heart surgery / focus on cardiac cases.

  • General CV / Thoracic Surgery : open, Coronary artery bypass surgery : On & Off-pump.
  • Congenital defects (ASD
  • Valvular Repair & replacement.
  • Aneurysm Repair : Cardiac & Aorto-thoracic.
  • ECMO Cannulation & Patient stabilization for transport to academic center in Denver.
  • TAVRs, Lead Extraction, Mitraclips.
  • Aortic work emphasis a+.
  • PREFERRED Procedures : Evaluation & mgmt. of acute vol / BP issues, Insertion of Central Line, Arterial Line, PA catheter & IABP.
  • Total No. of Beds : 400.
  • Beds in the ICU : 12.
  • Trauma Level : I.
  • EMR : Epic.
  • Travel, lodging, and malpractice insurance covered.

    • Requirements :

  • Active CO License or IMLC.
  • BC.
  • Must note if able to perform all required procedures & dissections (with recent case logs in excel spreadsheet).
  • Able to perform heart surgery / focus on cardiac cases (note yrs of experience).
  • Strong surgical case volume.
  • Active AHA certs / willing to obtain : ACLS & BLS.
  • Clean record / no malpractice.
  • COVID vaccination proof.
