We are seeking an experienced Real Estate Attorney to join our team. The ideal candidate will have significant experience handling complex real estate transactions beyond residential closings, with a focus on commercial real estate, development, and land use matters. This is an opportunity to work directly with business clients, developers, and investors on sophisticated real estate deals.

Job Details

Key Responsibilities

Represent clients in commercial real estate acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and development projects

Draft, review, and negotiate purchase & sale agreements, leases, easements, and loan documents

Advise clients on title, survey, zoning, and land use matters

Provide counsel to developers, landlords, lenders, and tenants on real estate strategies and risks

Work closely with firm leadership and clients to structure and close transactions efficiently

Qualifications

J.D. from an accredited law school and licensed to practice in Illinois

3–7 years of real estate experience, with a focus on commercial transactions preferred

Strong knowledge of contract negotiation, title / survey issues, and financing structures

Experience with land use / zoning or development projects is a plus

Excellent communication, drafting, and client-relations skills
