Pay Information

$385 to $440 per hour

About The Position

  • Seeking a Board Certified Gastroenterologist for outpatient locum coverage. The role focuses on endoscopic procedures with no call responsibilities. Candidate will work alongside CRNAs, RNs, and techs in a well-supported environment.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Perform colonoscopies, EGDs, and other advanced endoscopic procedures.
  • Conduct diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, including :
  • Upper GI Endoscopy with biopsy
  • Foreign body removal
  • Fulguration of bleeders (cautery or laser)
  • Injections of varices
  • Esophageal dilation / manometry
  • Small bowel biopsy
  • Lower GI Endoscopy
  • Flexible sigmoidoscopy
  • Colonoscopy with biopsy and polyp excision

    Job Requirements

  • Board Certified in Gastroenterology.
  • Active state medical license or IMLC eligibility.
  • Credentialing completion within 45 days of paperwork submission.
  • Proficient in a wide range of GI endoscopic procedures.
