Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Forecasting Analyst supporting a high-visibility F135 Sustainment Integrated Fleet Support team. This role supports four key team deliverables : execute forecasting, powerplant engineering, maintenance program management, and shop visit cost management. The successful Forecasting Analyst conducts fleet behavior analytics and forecasting for the propulsion system depot repair network and life cycle planning to support the safety, readiness, effectiveness, and affordability of the propulsion system.

What Will You Do

• Development of predictive analytics using simple and advanced lifing algorithm data
• Mining of data from a variety of different business sources to perform appropriate business analytics. Using methods such as : Excel, Minitab, JMP and limited scripting in languages such as R and Python
• Maintenance and development of flight hour behavior profiles as requested by Sustainment and other F135 customers
• Conducting fly-forwards on a regular basis to support programs plans, including but not limited to CFT and hardware inspection planning
• Daily interactions with internal and external stakeholders on inputs to forecasting. Generating standard analysis and potential scenarios, or ad-hoc analysis, is critical to the successful execution of this role. This position includes periodic presentations to leadership to explain analysis results.
• Travel 10% (Domestic and International).
