Senior Staff Accountant

A company is looking for a Senior Staff Accountant to manage financial operations and ensure compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee month-end close processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting

Ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements specific to healthcare and private equity-backed businesses

Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support strategic decision-making

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

CPA or CMA certification is a plus

3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in a private equity-backed or healthcare environment

Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls

Experience with ERP systems and financial software
