Responsibilities
- The Human Resource Specialist will be responsible for supporting the daily human resources operations. This role will focus on benefits, labor laws, required government reporting, and employee relations while also providing general administrative support to the Program Managers and employees.
- Guiding employees on HR procedures, addressing workplace issues, and promoting a positive work environment.
- Process new hire paperwork and manage employee files.
- Coordinate the offboarding process for departing employees.
- Understand and implement our policies and procedures.
- Update and monitor information within the HR database and generate reports as needed.
- Put together offer packets from our recruiters in preparation for quality review.
Qualifications
The candidate must have the following qualifications :
Minimum of 10 years' experience as a Human Resource SpecialistSHRM-CP CertificationAbility to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.A strong understanding of labor laws and regulations along with required government reporting.Must have the ability to work on multiple projects concurrently.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.In-depth understanding of human resource principles, practices, and procedures.Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.The following qualifications are desired :
