Overview
Experience Guide (Front Desk Associate) - Studio City. The Experience Guide is responsible for the reception area and overall seamless daily operations of the facility, including greeting guests, managing the sauna experience from check-in to check-out, general housekeeping and inventory tasks, answering phone calls, assisting guests with questions regarding services and products, booking appointments, promoting memberships and retail, checking guests into the computer system, customizing the guest’s massage, and charging for services performed. This position may involve additional duties as necessary to maintain operational efficiency and security.
Responsibilities
- Provide top level guest service for all guests, including internal guests.
- Know and articulate The NOW mission.
- Be on time for your shift and properly open and close the boutique daily according to Standard Operating Procedures.
- Accurately book, change, and cancel massage appointments via telephone.
- Ensure necessary waivers are signed prior to appointments.
- Acknowledge and greet everyone who enters and leaves the facility.
- Provide detailed descriptions of services, enhancements, sauna usage instructions, retail products, appointment cancellation / change policies, memberships, and parking information with any applicable challenges.
- Utilize computers skillfully and only for business purposes; maintain cash register and safeguard guest financial data.
- Answer the phone promptly and use the guest’s first name during conversations.
- Actively promote services, enhancements, memberships, retail, special events, promotions and discounts.
- Maintain eye contact and address guests professionally and courteously, paraphrasing to ensure understanding.
- Provide accurate, immediate responses to guest requests to ensure satisfaction.
- Maintain a clean, safe, fully stocked and well-organized work area, including sanitizing saunas between uses.
- Develop the ability to work without constant direct supervision and remain at assigned post for extended periods.
- Maintain a positive attitude and contribute toward a healthy, respectful workplace free of bullying, discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.
- Regularly attend and participate in training and staff meetings; assist in all areas of operation as requested by management.
- Communicate to management any occurrences involving staff or guests that require attention.

Pay Range : $19.00 / hour
Benefit package includes medical, dental, vision, Life / AD&D, 401K, paid time off, and holidays.
