Machinery Parts & Services Administrator
While reporting directly to the Shift Supervisor, the following job description outlines the essential functions of each level of role within the finishing department. The following lists are not exhaustive, and the employee in each of these roles is expected to assume any and all duties assigned by management irrespective of whether such duties are specifically included in the following.
What You'll Be Doing :
- Within the Heat Seal Machinery department, coordinate parts orders and service calls for machines in the field
- Regularly answer calls and interact with customers / account managers to obtain, document, and work to solve all questions and machine troubleshooting
- Quote and schedule replacements, parts orders, and service calls processing them in a timely fashion
- Process and organize expedites at times
- Process all pertinent customer complaints and credits
- Help maintain and issue current and legacy parts inventory
- Ensure customers' expectations are met and surpassed
- Manage back orders, work with new and existing suppliers, inspect incoming and outgoing part quality
- Provides all needs related to Parts & Service for Machine & Heat Seal tooling for both internal and external customers

Ability to prioritize workload and multi-task.Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, & ERP Systems.Strong positive and professional customer interactionsForward thinking and decision makingSupply chain / logistics experience preferredAbility to read, write and understand BOM's & schematics.Have a strong understanding of mechanical systems.Information gathering and problem-solving skills.Practical experience working with complex machinery that utilize computer controls, pneumatics, and mechanical switches.3-5 years business to business customer service or field service experience.
