The Part-Time Post Harvest Technician plays a vital role within our operations including but not limited to : performing tasks related to harvesting, trimming, laying, drying, curing, and quality control.  This position is very much hands on, detail oriented, repetitive in nature, & requires strong attention to detail.  Those who would excel in this position are detail oriented but able to think, see, and also take action resulting towards a quality end goal that is very much part of a bigger picture.

Responsibilities :

Takes direction from the Post Harvest & Operations Manager

Pay attention with meticulous detail to the quality control of all processes in harvesting.

Employment Standards :

Education – High school diploma required. A bachelor's degree in Business, Botany, Horticulture, Agriculture, or related fields is preferred.

Experience – Experience working in a large grow operation with experience hand and / or machine trimming. Familiarity with molds, mildews, and pest. Strong understanding or ability to be trained on the electronic tracking system.

Special Requirements – Must be 18 years of age or older. A pre-employment drug test is required for this position. Random drug testing may be instituted. Ability to pass a background check. The employee must be capable of standing, walking, handling with fingers, and reaching outward frequently. Repetitive use of trimmers and other specialized hand tools is required. Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required.
