The Monterey County Fair is seeking an energetic, accomplished, and community-minded Event Sales & Marketing Coordinator. This full-time, benefited position offers competitive pay and the unique opportunity to serve the community in a dynamic, positive environment. Position Details :

• Hours : 40 hours per week, with additional hours as required
• Salary : $4,868 – $6,093 per month
• Benefits : Health, Dental, and Vision
• Retirement & Vacation : Per CALHR
• Holidays : 11 paid holidays annually
• Sick Leave : 8 hours per month

Position Summary :

Under the direction of the CEO and Deputy Manager, this role coordinates, organizes, and facilitates events at the Monterey County Fairgrounds. Responsibilities include negotiating rental agreements, preparing contracts, coordinating event staff, tracking payroll information, and overseeing budgets and financial transactions. This position also assists with competition guidelines, volunteer recruitment, securing judges, and promoting results.
