The Operational Excellence IV- Supply Chain, is an integral part of Hanger's Supply Chain operations strategy. The position, reporting to the Director of Quality Systems, will play a key role in the development of Lean culture and continuous improvement mindset across manufacturing, fabrication, distribution, and customer operations. This hands-on leader is responsible for leading Lean Six Sigma Black Belt projects, leading and facilitating workshops targeting the application of Lean fundamentals (ie. Daily Accountability, Visual Management, Value-Stream Mapping, 5S, Standard Work, Root-Cause Problem-Solving, etc.), developing and delivering training content, coaching Green Belts / Yellow Belts / Lean Leaders, working with business leaders to identify improvement opportunities, as well as recommend and implement data-driven, process changes. While performing this tactical activity, The Operational Excellence IV will maintain awareness of the long-term objectives of the organization, embodying the qualities of a leader adept at translating vision into tangible results.

Your Impact

• Leading and managing Lean Six Sigma projects to improve business processes and reduce waste and variation.
• Provide leadership and support necessary to continuous improvement projects, applying Lean and Six Sigma tools to strategic projects and goals of the business.
• Champions process improvement culture and lean program development; oversees the implementation of best practices across the entire supply chain.
• Training, coaching, and mentoring team members in Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams & engage with business leaders to identify opportunities for improvement and implement effective solutions.
• Analyzing data and using statistical tools to identify root causes of problems and develop data-driven solutions.
• Facilitating change management activities to ensure successful implementation and sustainability of improvements.
• Communicating project progress, results, return on investment, and impact to stakeholders.
• Assist in the development and maintenance of quality system-related procedures as they evolve and support continuous improvement efforts.
• Ensure compliance with company and government quality, safety, and environmental regulations.
