The Chief PET / CT Technologist oversees daily imaging services, assists management in coordinating operations to ensure high-quality patient care and image quality, maintains equipment performance and safety, and manages costs. Responsibilities include scheduling team members, conducting performance evaluations, and overseeing multi-modalities regardless of licensure.

Specific duties include, but are not limited to :

• Performing clinical scans and ensuring patient safety, with scan times ranging from 60% to 80%. Scheduling and filling shifts as needed.
• Creating and managing team member schedules, approving timecards, hiring, managing performance, and conducting evaluations.
• Acting as the primary contact for escalations, liaising with customers, operations, and sales, supporting audits, accreditation activities, and protocol development.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
