Pre-Litigation Attorney

A leading and fast-growing law firm is seeking a full-time Pre-Litigation Personal Injury Attorney to join its team in Delray Beach, FL. This position focuses on client engagement, claim evaluation, and negotiation prior to litigation. The ideal candidate is compassionate, detail-oriented, and skilled in client communication and claims handling. Duties

Meet with clients to evaluate and discuss the details of their personal injury claims

Establish trust and rapport with clients through consistent and empathetic communication

Provide regular case updates to clients

Communicate with insurance companies regarding claim status, demands, and settlement offers

Evaluate claims for legal and factual strengths and prepare cases for potential litigation

Negotiate with insurers to secure fair settlements for clients

Collaborate with internal staff to ensure a streamlined case process

Requirements

Active member of the Florida Bar in good standing

Member of the Illinois Bar, or willing to become licensed in Illinois

Prior experience evaluating and managing personal injury claims

Ability to work independently in a fast-paced office environment

Team-oriented and proactive in problem-solving

Education

Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school

Certifications

Licensed to practice law in Florida (required)

Licensed in Illinois or willingness to obtain licensure (preferred)

Skills

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Superb negotiation and case evaluation skills

Ability to connect with clients and provide exceptional service

Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred)

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
