Commitment Analyst

As a Commitment Analyst, you will collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, members, and suppliers. You'll play a key role in resolving contract tiering disputes, creating and managing Letters of Commitment (LOCs), and helping streamline operational processes.

Responsibilities :

  • Interpret contract terms and business requirements to ensure contract tiers are operationally sound.
  • Create, publish, and maintain LOCs for national and member-specific agreements across business segments.
  • Analyze impacts of member group changes and advise stakeholders.
  • Train users (internal teams, members, and supplies) on commitment processes and systems.
  • Lead supplier onboarding to the commitment system and manage launch activities.
  • Serve as a key contact for resolving member / supplier disputes and escalations related to LOCs.
  • Collaborate with Communications and Technology teams for system releases, improvements, and training documentation.
  • Support non-acute market exceptions and maintain knowledge of the full HealthTrust Contract portfolio.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing and enhancement planning with internal tech teams.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's Degree required; related field preferred.
  • 35 years of relevant professional experience in a similar role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
  • Comfortable working independently and within a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong customer service orientation and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Preferred Skills :

  • Experience in healthcare, GPO contracting, or supplier relations.
  • Familiarity with contract tiering, commitment systems, or healthcare analytics platforms.
