Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Deaf Education, Special Education, or a related field, active Deaf & Hard of Hearing (DHH) certification, and 1+ years Deaf & Hard of Hearing Specialist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Part-Time Teacher for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Denton, TX

Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced Teachers for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing for a part-time role within school districts in the Denton, TX area. This position offers a pay rate starting between $38 to $43 per hour, based on experience.

Requirements :

Valid Texas Teaching Certificate with Deaf and Hard of Hearing endorsement

Bachelors or Masters degree in Deaf Education or related field

Proficiency in ASL preferred

Experience working with students with hearing impairments

Responsibilities :

Provide specialized instruction and support to students with hearing loss

Collaborate with staff and families to implement accommodations and technology

Develop and monitor IEP goals and progress

Maintain accurate records and participate in meetings as needed
