SMT Operator

Job Overview We are seeking a skilled SMT Operator to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining surface mount technology (SMT) equipment, ensuring the production of high-quality electronic components. This role requires attention to detail, technical expertise, and a commitment to safety and quality standards. Nature of Duties : Sets up and operates a variety of automatic or semi-automatic SMT machines used in the production of the company's product Works from process sheets or written instructions given by supervisor to perform production tasks Checks and inspects operation against predetermined tolerances Follow all Company Safety and ESD Program requirements. Responsible to report all accidents, near misses unsafe acts and unsafe conditions Properly handle and dispose all waste, including hazardous wastes that are generated in daily operations as directed by applicable SOP(s) Ability to stand, sit and bend for long periods of time Must be able to work overtime Duties as assigned Education and Experience Requirements : High School Diploma or GED Min 2 years' experience in the switchgear manufacturing environment Must be able to communicate effectively in both written and spoken English If you are passionate about electronics manufacturing and possess the skills required for this role, we encourage you to apply and become a vital part of our team!
