Because of their continued growth, a General Contractor in the SAN ANTONIO AREA seeks a COMMERCIAL SUPERINTENDENT WITH MULTIFAMILY BUILD EXPERIENCE (Preferred) to join their team. The Lead Superintendent is responsible for providing leadership and management to team's assigned projects safely, profitable, and timely. The LS manages various teams and job sites and works in a manner consistent with standards of quality and integrity and will participate in the all of the construction phases of the projects assigned.

Key Superintendent Responsibilities Include :

• Responsibility for project success, including safety, schedule, profitability, quality.
• Establishes and maintains professional working relationships with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Champions the orderly, timely completion of projects in the field.
• Coordinates with the Project Manager the means and methods required for the successful and profitable execution of the work.
• Assures coordination with the Project Manager and the procurement schedule with the Project Engineer. Pays special attention to prevention and documentation of delays or changes.
• Uses available reports to manage costs and prepare accurate cost projections.
• Reviews and executes all change orders.
• Completes close-out requirements and punch lists promptly.
• Provides feedback to estimators for future bidding or negotiations, especially subcontractor performance evaluations.
