Job Title : Contact Center Representative - Healthcare (Contract to Hire)

Location : Midtown Manhattan, New York, NY (Onsite)

Schedule : Monday - Friday, 9 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM (35 hours / week)

Pay : $20 - $23 per hour (Contract); $24 - $26+ per hour upon conversion to full-time

Duration : Contract to hire - approximately 800 hours (5-6 months)

About the Role :

A leading hospital system in New York is looking for a Contact Center Representative to join their patient services team. You'll be the first point of contact for patients, helping them schedule appointments, answer questions, and navigate healthcare with empathy and professionalism. This contract-to-hire role offers the chance to grow into a full-time position in a top-ranked healthcare organization.

What You'll Do :

Answer incoming patient calls with professionalism and empathy.

Schedule and reschedule appointments for physician consultations, imaging, and physical therapy.

Provide clear, accurate guidance on healthcare services, including implant recalls.

Follow up with patients via email or letters to confirm details.

Document interactions and update patient records in the electronic health system (EPIC).

Generate reports on call volume, patient concerns, and follow-ups.

Who You Are :

A strong communicator with excellent phone etiquette.

Patient, empathetic, and dedicated to helping others.

Organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple tasks.

Familiarity with Epic is a plus, but your customer service skills matter most.

Previous healthcare or call center experience is a bonus.
