Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Correctional Discipline : RN Start Date : 10 / 12 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Facility : California City Correctional Center by Core Civic 1) RN Corrections job but correctional experience is not required only US citizens accepted , GC holders not accepted . (New Grads encouraged to apply and experienced nurses welcome with open arms) 2) 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse required only. 3) Facility Type : Level II (low-medium) security prison Job Description : Monitor inmate / resident hospitalizations for early release eligibility. Observe and document behavior. Inspect and secure the medical unit, disposing of contraband risks. Escort or coordinate inmate / resident transport for medical care. Conduct searches for contraband on persons and objects. Perform security checks in confined areas and during shifts. De-escalate or prevent disruptive situations. Supervise and guide nursing and non-licensed medical staff. Collaborate with facility staff and external providers. Follow policies and exercise sound judgment in all tasks.
