Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Medical-Surgical Oncology Registered Nurse to join the team. In this role, you will deliver high-quality, specialized care to patients with complex medical and surgical needs, supporting them through treatment, recovery, and beyond. You will be an essential part of helping patients and families navigate the challenges of oncology care.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care, including pre- and post-operative support.
- Administer and monitor treatments, medications, and symptom management.
- Assess, document, and communicate changes in patient condition.
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans, procedures, and self-care.
- Collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Ensure accurate and timely charting in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Offer emotional support and compassionate care to patients and families.
Requirements
Active RN license in Florida or valid compact license.Current BLS certification .Minimum 1 year of recent experience in Medical-Surgical Oncology or Acute Care.Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and teamwork skills.Prior travel nursing experience a plus.👉 Why Join Us?
