Sr. Mechanical Inspector

Under minimal supervision, performs mechanical inspection with precision in execution and meticulous attention to detail. Performs inspections of complex machined parts for conformance to specifications. Maintains accurate records. Familiar with AQL Single / Double Sampling Plan, use of measurement tools such as, Calipers, Micrometers, Height / Thread gages Micro-Hite, Optical Comparator etc., knowledge and understanding of Mil-Standards, practices and procedures. Relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals. Responsible for the acceptance of conforming and non-conforming product. Must be able to strictly adhere to all quality control processes and procedures.

Wage Information : $24.00 - $31.00 Per hour

Peerless' advanced instrumentation and control systems are not only used in Navy propulsion systems but provide sophisticated monitoring systems for the gas, oil or petrochemical industries.
