Role Description

We’re launching a new YouTube Live show, and we’re looking for an experienced Consumer News Producer to run it. You should have broadcast news producing experience, preferably live experience. This is a heavily editorial position with opportunities to shape the voice and direction of the show. You’ll be the story idea engine — pitching, researching, and writing fast-paced consumer news segments that help our audience save and protect their money. You’ll also help with light shooting and editing, ensuring the show looks sharp and moves quickly.

This is a hybrid role, with the majority of your time working remote.

Candidates should be based in South Florida and able to commute to the Boca Raton area. Candidates must news producing experience.

Responsibilities

• Generate and develop daily consumer story ideas that fit the Rossen Reports brand.
• Research trends, scams, product comparisons, and news alerts.
• Write scripts and segment notes for a live, fast-moving show.
• Assist with field shoots and operate small cameras (including iPhone).
• Perform light editing for clips and social cut-downs.
• Work closely with Jeff Rossen and the Rossen Media team to innovate show format and audience engagement.
