Bachelor's degree from an ASHA-accredited university, active Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) license and minimum 1+ years speech-language pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to support K-12 students in a vibrant school setting located in Seattle, WA. This role provides an exciting chance to contribute to student success by assisting licensed speech-language pathologists in delivering effective munication interventions.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Support speech-language pathology services by working under the supervision of a licensed speech-language pathologist.
  • Assist in preparing materials and implementing therapy plans tailored to individual student needs.
  • Collect and document data to track student progress during therapy sessions.
  • Collaborate with educators, therapists, and families to ensure continuity of care.
  • Maintain confidentiality and adherence to ethical standards in all student interactions.

Qualifications and Desired Experience :

  • pletion of an accredited Speech-Language Pathology Assistant program.
  • State licensure or certification as required to practice as an SLPA.
  • Experience working in educational settings with K-12 students preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to follow detailed therapy plans.
  • Effective munication skills and the ability to build rapport with children and school staff.
