Counselor / Therapist (MFT-LP, LMFT, MHC-LP, LMHC)

Expressive Connections is a private group psychotherapy practice offering therapy to children, adults and families. We give our therapists the autonomy to approach their clients with a tailored and individualized approach that best fits their needs. Our offices are conveniently located in Lynbrook and Garden City, each only a short walking distance from their respective LIRR stations. Therapists have the opportunity to work in person and virtually, however in-person hours are required.

We offer a goal-oriented, therapist-centric practice where community and culture are paramount. Expressive Connections is a full service private therapy practice on Long Island. Our therapists tailor treatments to meet the specific needs of children, adults, couples and families.

Clinicians that have subspecialties in couples work, trauma focused care, ADHD, expressive arts therapy modalities, CBT and / or DBT are particularly encouraged to apply. Our mission is to help our clients and therapists reach their full potential - to thrive, not just survive.

Requirements :

• At this time, we are seeking NYS licensed (MFT-LP, LMFT, MHC-LP, LMHC) clinicians.
• Applicants are required to have a minimum of one (1) year of direct clinical experience.
• All applicants must have the flexibility to work in person, evenings, and / or weekends (2 of the 3), and commit to a minimum of 10 hours weekly.

Compensation : $35 - $37.50 hourly

Expressive Connections is committed to thoughtful and comprehensive individual and group supervision, centered around both clinical practice and administrative function. One of our goals is to truly prepare our therapists for their fully licensed future, helping them find their clinical voice while emphasizing the importance of understanding clinical documentation and the insurance landscape both in and out of network.
