About the Opportunity
HireNow Staffing is seeking a seasoned Registered Nurse (RN) with leadership experience in skilled nursing or long-term care to join a well-respected facility in the South Hill / Spokane area. This pivotal role oversees the daily clinical operations and nursing staff including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs while maintaining a compassionate, family-centered approach to resident care.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage nursing teams, ensuring optimal coordination of resident care across all shifts.
Oversee clinical documentation , assessments, and care plans to ensure accuracy, compliance, and timeliness.
Partner closely with families to communicate resident needs, care goals, and progress with compassion and clarity.
Monitor resident outcomes and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to maintain the highest quality of care.
Ensure regulatory compliance with state and federal guidelines, as well as internal policies and procedures.
Coach, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff performance while fostering professional development and accountability.
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support departments to ensure comprehensive, coordinated resident care.
Respond to emergencies, conduct rounds, and maintain a proactive presence on the unit to support residents and staff.
Lead quality improvement initiatives that promote resident satisfaction and operational excellence.
Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Washington, in good standing.
Minimum 3 years of nursing experience in a skilled nursing facility, rehabilitation center, or long-term care environment.
At least 1-2 years of leadership or supervisory experience managing clinical staff (RNs, LPNs, CNAs).
Proven ability to handle sensitive family communications and emotionally charged situations with professionalism and grace.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Strong understanding of care planning, MDS, and regulatory compliance requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
BSN degree or higher (strongly preferred).
Experience with state surveys, QAPI programs, and care coordination within skilled nursing settings.
Demonstrated ability to build team culture , improve staff engagement, and maintain high clinical standards.
Working knowledge of electronic health records (EHR) and documentation systems.
