Street And Sewer Maintenance Worker

The Streets and Urban Forestry Division is seeking a dedicated and reliable individual to join our team as a Street and Sewer Maintenance Worker. This manual, semi-skilled position involves a variety of shop maintenance duties and vehicle washing tasks at our Streets and Urban Forestry facility. Work is generally performed under the supervision of a foreperson or higher-level employee and is subject to inspection both in-process and upon completion. In this role, you'll contribute to the upkeep of essential city equipment and infrastructure. The current recruitment is to fill one (1) position based at Streets West at 1501 W Badger Rd. The work hours for this position are Monday through Friday, 2 : 30 p.m. to 10 : 30 p.m. The successful candidate must maintain an acceptance rate of 50% or better on all snow and ice overtime shifts offered. This recruitment will be used to create an eligible list for other Street and Sewer Maintenance Worker 1 positions in the Streets Division that become available in the next six (6) months. Leave :
Vacation is earned upon starting employment and can be used after completion of probation. The general vacation schedule is below.

Employees earn 3.5 personal days in addition to vacation.
