  • Location : Ithaca, NY 14850 (New York healthcare job)\n
  • Assignment Length : 13 weeks (June 30, 2025 – September 29, 2025)\n
  • Shift : 12-hour night shifts (3 shifts per week)\n
  • Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week\n
  • Setting : Intensive Care Unit (ICU)\n
  • Start Date : ASAP\n
  • Estimated Weekly Pay : $1990 - $2130\n

    ICU RN Qualifications

    \n

    \n

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (New York RN license preferred)\n
  • Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience required\n
  • Experience with Epic EMR system preferred\n
  • Willingness to float to Telemetry and / or Med / Surg units as needed (1 : 5 patient ratio on all three units)\n
  • Ability to work one summer holiday (4th of July or Labor Day)\n

    ICU Nurse Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU\n
  • Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions using Epic EMR\n
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans\n
  • Float to Telemetry and / or Med / Surg units as needed, maintaining a safe and effective patient ratio\n
  • Provide patient and family education and support\n
  • Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols\n
