This position is with one of the largest multi-specialty physician groups in the country. It is Chicagoland based and also one of the fastest growing networks in the US.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis across the organization, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Manage internal financial reporting, providing department-specific insights and guidance.
  • Translate complex financial data into key performance indicators to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Lead the development of the company’s five-year strategic business plan and ensure successful budget execution.
  • Provide financial expertise and strategic counsel to management and decision-makers.
  • Assess financial implications of mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures while ensuring smooth financial integration.
  • Analyze financial statements, recommend profit-enhancing strategies, and proactively identify potential risks.
  • Validate incentive compensation calculations in collaboration with relevant departments.
  • Prepare and present financial reports for internal leadership and the Board of Directors.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business (MBA preferred).
  • CPA or CFA certification is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years in a senior financial role, with required experience in healthcare.
  • Experience with IPO execution is a plus.
  • Demonstrated success in mergers and acquisitions.
  • Proven ability to scale financial operations and implement long-term structures.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
  • Expertise in financial analysis, GAAP, SEC reporting, corporate finance, and valuation methods for acquisitions.
