Temporary Lumper / Freight Handler

Location : Mustang USA Parkway

Schedule : Usually work 6 8 hours a day 1-2 days a week

Pay : $23.00

Job Summary :

We are seeking a dependable, hardworking, and physically fit temporary Lumper to assist with loading and unloading freight and materials in our warehouse and distribution center. This fast-paced role is essential for maintaining efficient operations during busy periods and requires a strong ability to work efficiently in a team to meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities :

  • Receive, unload, and move various freight, materials, and pallets from trucks or containers by hand or using equipment.
  • Palletize, shrink-wrap, and organize goods for storage or shipment.
  • Operate motorized pallet jacks and potentially forklifts to transport materials.
  • Perform accurate inventory checks, verify incoming shipments against order manifests, and note any damaged items.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work and loading area in compliance with all safety guidelines.
  • Collaborate effectively with drivers, warehouse staff, and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow and timely deliveries.
  • Adapt quickly to changing priorities and tasks in a dynamic logistics environment.

Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated ability to lift and move heavy objects (e.g., 10-50 lbs) consistently.
  • Strong physical stamina and endurance for a demanding, repetitive physical job.
  • Ability to work efficiently and quickly in a fast-paced team setting.
  • Attention to detail for accurate handling and verification of goods.
  • Basic understanding of workplace safety procedures.
  • Experience with pallet jacks and / or forklifts is a plus.
  • Reliability and a strong work ethic to meet the demands of a temporary position.

    • Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to) : $23.00 - $23.00 Per Hour
