Expeditor - Industrial Valves & Automation Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Expeditor to manage the movement of materials and products within the supply chain. This key role ensures the timely delivery of industrial valves and automation components from suppliers to our facilities and customers. The ideal candidate will support operational efficiency through excellent communication, administrative support, and process improvements, playing a vital role in keeping our supply chain streamlined and responsive.

Expeditor - Industrial Valves & Automation Responsibilities

Monitor and track purchase orders from initiation through to delivery, ensuring deadlines are met.

Coordinate with suppliers, warehouses, and carriers to expedite shipments and resolve delivery issues.

Communicate order status, inventory levels, and logistical updates to internal departments.

Prioritize shipments based on project timelines and customer requirements.

Identify supply chain bottlenecks and recommend actionable improvements.

Generate reports on order status, delays, and performance metrics for management review.

Collaborate with project and operations teams to align supply chain activities with overall project goals.

Provide administrative support, including managing shared email inboxes, answering inquiries, and maintaining accurate records.

Expeditor - Industrial Valves & Automation Position Requirements

High school diploma required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field .

Minimum of 2 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, or operations support.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word) and familiarity with ERP systems.

Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Ability to work proactively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Knowledge of industrial distribution practices and terminology is a plus.
