Ambulance Biller Lead

A company is looking for an Accounts Receivable Lead.

Key Responsibilities

Manage revenue cycles related to outstanding insurance accounts receivable, denials, and appeals

Act as a subject matter expert to assist the A / R Management team with issues related to denials and appeals

Maintain workflow to minimize aging accounts by regularly following up on unpaid claims

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma required; Associate's degree or equivalent experience in Healthcare preferred

3-5 years of experience in healthcare claims processing, billing, or accounts receivable

Hands-on experience with insurance appeals and understanding of payer denial codes

Familiarity with ICD-10, HCPCS, and general medical terminology

Obtain ambulance biller certification within 6 months of employment
