Description

Location : Fountain Valley, CA

Shift : Day Shift (3x12-Hour, 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM, Friday – Sunday)

Start Date : February 11, 2025

Duration : 13 weeks

Job Responsibilities :

  • Provide emergency nursing care for neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
  • Work in a STEMI and Stroke Certified Facility
  • Interpret and manage dysrhythmias, arterial lines, ventilated patients, and procedural sedation
  • Perform phlebotomy, IV starts, and administer IV vasopressors
  • Utilize EPIC documentation system
  • Work every other weekend

Requirements

Experience : Minimum 3 years in ER (First-time travelers accepted with 3-5 years of experience)

Certifications : ACLS, BLS, CPI, MAB, NIHSS, PALS

Skills : Pediatric ER, arterial line management, blood product administration, central line care, BiPAP / CPAP, ABG interpretation

License : Active CA RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)

Travelers : First-time travelers accepted

COVID-19 Vaccine : Not required

Flu Vaccine : Required (Medical / Religious exemptions allowed)

References : 1 required (within the last 2 years)

Benefits

  • $63-68 / hr
  • Overtime : After 12 regular hours in a day OR 60 regular hours in a week
  • Holiday Pay : Paid for major holidays worked (New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas)
