You will develop strategies and coordinate activities related to Global Regulatory Compliance as well as develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and material control systems. You will be the liaison for Honeywell with regulatory bodies such as NIOSH, NFPA, CSA, and UL. You will partner with multi-functional teams such as Quality, Manufacturing, and Engineering to ensure quality control inspection and testing of materials, parts, and products which adhere to established regulatory standards. This role will be accountable for building up the functional excellence to support business objectives.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Lead Global Regulatory across Honeywell Sensing & Safety Technologies
  • Lead the Healthcare Line of Business with new and existing medical products within Sensing & Safety Technologies
  • Lead improvement initiatives with regards to regulatory standards
  • Build relationships with certification and regulatory agencies
  • Sponsor team participation in Standard Committees
  • Ensure integrity of data and compliance to all standards associated with the product
  • Improve processes / procedures as related to changing regulations and key member to SPS / Honeywell Industrial Product Safety Council
  • Lead audits pertained to regulatory organizations such as FDA, CSA, FM, Intertek, etc.
  • Liaison to address regulatory system, key process and customer problems.
  • Lead direct reports to ensure regulatory compliance work activities within the team to comply across all LOBs
  • Build a strong team : Hire, train, coach, develop talent, evaluate performance, implement company rules, and encourage career progression within your team

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor's Degree (Engineering or science field strongly preferred)
  • Strong medical regulations knowledge and experience
  • 8+ years' leadership experience
  • WE VALUE

  • Experience with certifications for medical devices, FDA, hazardous locations for Intrinsic Safety, Flame / Explosion proof; ISO1345
  • In depth quality assurance and manufacturing experience
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire change and influence others as well as prioritize multiple and conflicting priorities
  • Solid understanding of Quality improvement principles, RCCA and Six Sigma
  • Create, develop, implement and sustain action plans to meet business objectives
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal skills that transfer to all interested parties
