This essential role plays a key part in ensuring smooth communication and support within our organization. As a Referral Teleservices Tech, you will manage a multi-line phone system, verify information in the EMR, and direct callers to the appropriate departments or personnel. This dynamic position also includes maintaining on-call schedules for practices, handling after-hours answering services, monitoring alarms, and providing lite help desk support, including documentation in the ticketing system.

Efficiently handle high volumes of inbound calls while maintaining swift response rates in line with service standards.

Continuously update and manage staff availability lists to ensure proper call routing.

Operate standard office equipment, including personal computers, software applications, fax machines, phones, and printers.

Monitor hospital alarms and respond to emergency codes as needed.

Understand and respond effectively to both verbal and written instructions, ensuring clear communication with all parties.

Adhere to all organizational policies and procedures, including those related to behavior, attendance, punctuality, and professional appearance.

Build and maintain positive working relationships with supervisors, colleagues, patients, and the public.

Enter data into the health information management system and perform other routine clerical duties as assigned.
