As an Account Manager , you’ll own a dedicated portfolio of clients in North America—think of it as running your own mini-business within Workana. Your mission : deliver an exceptional client experience, foster long-term partnerships, and generate incremental growth by becoming a true trusted advisor .
You’ll be hands-on from the very beginning : setting the tone during onboarding, aligning client goals with measurable impact, ensuring satisfaction, and resolving challenges quickly and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Build and nurture trusted advisor relationships with your clients, owning your book of business like a CEO.
- Drive profitability and growth within your portfolio by identifying expansion opportunities and ensuring client retention.
- Lead the onboarding experience for new accounts, setting the standard for a strong partnership.
- Partner with clients on their technology and team-scaling goals, positioning Workana as a key enabler of innovation.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to advocate for your clients , remove roadblocks, and ensure alignment.
- Maintain accurate, transparent records in all platforms for revenue tracking, forecasting, and account planning.
Requirements
Proven success managing a book of business with quota responsibility in a fast-moving environment.Experience driving core KPIs such as incremental revenue, renewals, churn reduction, and client satisfaction.5+ years in client-facing roles, including at least 2 years in direct account management or quota-carrying positions.Strong ability to influence and collaborate across stakeholders in the best interest of the client.Willingness and ability to travel 30–50% across North America to meet with clients and attend key events.Resilient, adaptable, and comfortable navigating ambiguity and rapid change.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to connect with diverse client teams.Highly organized with a passion for data integrity and process discipline .Self-driven and proactive, with a knack for creative problem solving and closing deals.Proven ability to thrive in a remote-first environment.Benefits
