ICU Registered Nurse Job Details

Assignment Type : Travel Nursing

Healthcare Setting : Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU)

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Shifts per Week : 3 (12-hour day shifts : 7 : 00 AM – 7 : 00 PM)

Hourly Pay Rate : $86.ICU RN Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania or compact state eligibility

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required

Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a Medical ICU (MICU) setting

Prior travel nursing experience required

Ability to float between Founders 8 & 9 MICU units as needed

Willingness to work every other weekend (EOW)

Commitment to all scheduled shifts for the full 13-week contract

ICU RN Responsibilities

Provide high-quality, evidence-based critical care nursing to patients in a fast-paced MICU environment

Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans

Float between assigned MICU units (Founders 8 & 9) as required

Accurately document patient care in the electronic medical record (EMR)

Educate patients and families to support optimal health outcomes

Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
