Network Engineer

Salary : $87,600 - $116,000

This job is eligible to participate in IP's short-term incentive plan.

Location : 3232 Players Club Pkwy, Memphis, TN, or remote negotiable

The Job You Will Perform :

• Lead daily operational activities on a team supporting WAN and Datacenter technologies
• Oversight of operational alerting and reporting response
• Work in conjunction with department Technical Lead to insure operational excellence
• Insure timely response on critical incidents
• Implement, and support WAN, data center, collocation and cloud infrastructures
• Work in collaboration with the architecture team to test, document, and provide proof of concepts for emerging technologies
• Troubleshoot, maintain, upgrade, and provide solutions to hardware / software problems
• Identify, communicate, and implement proactive changes that must be performed to prevent problems
• Management of International Paper's network to meet service levels, including capacity planning and upgrades
• Expand, deploy, refresh and remove all supported data center network technologies, software and services, in collaboration with Global Telecom architects
• Work with and manage vendors and contractors
