Facility : Cedars-Sinai (Torrance Memorial Medical Center – Part of Cedars Network)

Location : California

Start Date : November 3, 2025 (Firm Start)

Shift : Days – 5x8s (9 : 30 AM – 6 : 00 PM)

Contract Length : 13 weeks / 91 days

Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours / week

💼 Job Overview

  • Setting : Outpatient & Inpatient (Adult only)
  • Team Size : 14 Radiation Therapists
  • Census : 80–90 patients / day
  • Machines :

    • 2x TrueBeam

  • Elekta Versa HD
  • GE Lightspeed CT Simulator
  • Bravos HDR Afterloader
  • Xoft Superficial Treatment System

    • 📋 Required Experience & Skills

  • Experience Required :

    • 2+ years as Radiation Therapist

  • Experience with Aria required
  • Experience with CBCT / kV / mV imaging , emergencies, and adult inpatient / outpatient
  • Preferred :

    • Chart check experience

  • Familiarity with a wide variety of cancer diagnoses
  • Teaching hospital background a plus

    • ✅ Certifications & Licensure (All Required)

  • ARRT (T) – Radiation Therapy
  • ARRT (R) – Radiologic Technology (also listed in some specs)
  • BLS – AHA only

    • California State License – Permanent (in hand at submission)

    Compact or temporary licenses are NOT accepted

    🚫 Restrictions & Compliance

  • First-time Travelers : Not accepted
  • Pending License : Not accepted
  • RTO Policy :

    • Must be submitted with profile

  • No RTO in first 2 weeks
  • No block scheduling
  • Max 2 weeks total RTO
  • Holiday Coverage : Only 1 of 3 major holidays allowed (manager discretion)
  • Locals : Accepted, no pay reduction

    • 🧾 Charting System

  • EPIC : Required (highly preferred)
  • Aria & Impac MOSAIQ experience required (Aria for daily use)

    • 💉 Vaccination Requirements

  • COVID-19 : Not required
  • Flu Vaccine : Required – No exemptions

    • 🏥 Return Policy & Other Details

  • Cedars-Sinai System Policy :

    • Must be gone 24+ months if previously employed at any Cedars-affiliated facility (travel or staff)

  • All past Cedars employment must be declared in submission
  • Modules (Training) :

    • Completed pre-start or during orientation
