Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN with a compact or NH license, ACLS / BLS certifications, and at least 2 years of ICU experience.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a 10-bed adult ICU within a community hospital setting
  • Care for critically ill adult medical, post-surgical, respiratory failure, sepsis, and acute stroke patients
  • Manage occasional pediatric critical care cases for stabilization prior to transfer
  • 12-hour day shifts (7 : 00am-7 : 30pm) with every third weekend required
  • No local candidates allowed within a 50-mile radius
  • Utilizes telestroke and tele-neurology for acute stroke patients
  • Responsibilities include managing critically ill adults, post-surgical patients, and pediatric cases as needed
  • Assignment is 13 weeks in duration
  • Must pass Tele / ECG and medication testing as part of onboarding
  • Holiday coverage may be required per department needs

  • Active NH or compact RN license required
  • Current ACLS and BLS (AHA) certifications required
  • Minimum of 2 years ICU RN experience required
  • Must provide proof of COVID vaccine and booster, and flu vaccination (medical exemptions permitted)
  • Prior employees or travelers must have a 6+ month break from Beth Israel Lahey Health facilities to be eligible
