The Department of Internal Medicine, Division of General Internal Medicine at the University of Utah is seeking candidates for a faculty position as a Nocturnist Hospitalist in the clinical track. Faculty rank is dependent upon the qualifications of the applicant.

We are an extremely high-performing, low-turnover hospital medicine group that is passionate about teaching and about hospital medicine as a career.

Choose between multiple practice settings : tertiary academic center, nationally-recognized NCI -Designated Comprehensive Cancer Center, community hospitals

Extensive career possibilities within the group allow the individual to shape their career based on personal interests and goals. Opportunities include teaching, leadership, QI, research, procedures, thrombosis, addiction medicine, global / rural health, palliative care, informatics, ethics, and utilization review

Approximately 10 shifts per month with highly flexible scheduling

Extensive mentoring and opportunities to participate in QI and scholarship on the local, regional, and national levels

Minimum qualifications :

Medical degree, eligible for Utah Medical License, and ABIM eligible

Preferred qualifications :

ABIM certified in Internal Medicine
