Become the go-to expert who keeps Bridor baking

Picture your day : you start with a brief handoff, scan open work orders in our computerized maintenance system, and head to the floor to keep our production lines humming. One moment you’re diagnosing a motor issue on a conveyor, the next you’re fabricating a bracket that helps a new piece of equipment fit perfectly into the line. You wrap up by documenting your work so the next shift is ready to roll.

Location & schedule

  • Primary shift : Day Shift, 6 : 00 a.m.–3 : 00 p.m., Sunday–Thursday (subject to change as needed)
  • Flexibility : Willing and able to rotate across all three shifts to support operations, maintenance coverage, and absences

What you’ll own

  • Rapid troubleshooting and repair : Diagnose and resolve issues across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and electromechanical systems to sustain throughput.
  • Preventive maintenance : Perform proactive inspections and service using a computerized maintenance system to schedule, execute, and record activities.
  • Fabrication and installations : Build or modify parts, frames, and components; assist with installing and commissioning new equipment.
  • Safety and food safety : Champion safe work practices and comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
  • Bring your strengths

  • Hands-on experience : Background as a Maintenance Mechanic, preferably in food processing or bakery manufacturing.
  • Systems thinker : Proven ability to quickly troubleshoot, isolate faults, and restore equipment for maximum uptime.
  • Technical depth : Comfortable with mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical systems; able to read prints, schematics, and manuals and identify / order parts.
  • Collaborator : Clear communicator who thrives in a team-focused, fast-moving environment.
  • Also helpful

  • Decisive under pressure—able to make smart calls quickly
  • Strong organization and follow-through, even when priorities shift
  • Basic computer skills (including Microsoft Office) for tracking maintenance and communicating effectively
