As an Advisor, US Benefits and Retirement, you will play a key role in the design, development, and management of the various benefits and retirement plans offered to iA Financial Group employees in the United States. You will work closely with the Total Rewards team, HR partners, and business leaders to support organizational changes and ensure that benefits strategiesincluding group insurance, 401(k) plans, and paid time off programsare aligned with our talent attraction, retention, and engagement goals.

What you'll accomplish with us
As an Advisor, US Benefits and Retirement, you'll be at the core of our mission. Here are the main responsibilities :
- Provide expert advice and support to the Total Rewards and Talent and Culture team on various benefits and pension plans, including health insurance, retirement savings, paid time off, sick leave and other employee perks.
- Assess current programs to identify improvement opportunities, cost efficiencies, and alignment with organizational goals.
- Assist in designing and implementing tailored benefits and pension plans that align with our organization's goals and budget.
- Participate in the governance of benefits and pension plans, ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies.
- Review opportunities to streamline and harmonize benefits and retirement plans across business lines or locations to ensure consistency and fairness for all employees.
- Stay current on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure our benefits and pension plans are competitive and compliant.
- Support the renewal process of benefits and retirement plans by coordinating with internal stakeholders and external providers, analyzing plan performance, and contributing to strategic decision-making.
- Contribute to mergers and acquisitions by evaluating and integrating benefits and retirement programs during transitions.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external providers to ensure seamless integration and administration of benefits and pension plans for our employees.
- Act as a trusted advisor to the Talent and Culture team, offering ongoing support and guidance to ensure our benefits and pension plans meet our employees' needs.
- Manage relationships with external benefits providers and vendors, ensuring service levels, compliance, and cost optimization.
- Leverage data analytics to monitor program effectiveness, identify trends, and support continuous improvement.

We're looking for someone who :
Has at least 7 years of proven experience in benefits and pension plan consulting or advisory roles.Is known for their in-depth knowledge of various types of benefits and pension plans, as well as relevant regulations and compliance requirements in the US.Stands out for their excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with Talent and Culture and finance teams.Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex benefits and pension plans and offer strategic recommendations.Is recognized for their proven ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel [advanced level], Word, PowerPoint).What would be an Asset but not required :
