Express Employment is excited to announce an opening for a Manufacturing Area Lead for the Weekend Shift in Toledo, OH. This crucial role involves overseeing a dedicated manufacturing area, ensuring that production meets quality standards while maximizing efficiency and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Direct and manage the operations of a specific manufacturing area during the weekend shift
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve daily production targets
  • Monitor processes and workflows, implementing adjustments as needed to support efficiency
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards
  • Facilitate training and development opportunities for team members
  • Communicate effectively with other leads and management on production challenges and successes
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions
  • Participate in safety meetings and promote a culture of safety within the team

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a manufacturing supervisory or lead position
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and industry practices
  • Demonstrated leadership skills and the ability to motivate a team
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Ability to analyze processes and resolve operational issues
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles is advantageous
  • Familiarity with safety standards and practices in a manufacturing environment
  • Must have a valid driver's license
  • Physical capability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds
