Job Opportunity : OB Hospitalist in Forth Worth, TX

We are seeking an additional Board Certified or Board Eligible OB Hospitalist at a leading hospital known for serving over 50,000 patients annually. This facility is a vital part of the communities in North Fort Worth, Haslet, Justin, Roanoke, and surrounding areas. It offers advanced health information technology and a collaborative environment with dedicated staff committed to quality care.

Job Responsibilities :

• Full-time considered as 7.5 24-hour shifts per month; part-time option available (minimum 5.5 shifts / month, benefit eligible).
• Manage an annual delivery volume of 1,924, which includes 96 vaginal and C-section deliveries performed by hospitalists.
• Oversee a 40% C-section rate in the delivery caseload.
• Conduct 2,296 unscheduled outpatient OB / GYN triage visits annually.
• Perform 1,229 OBED consults each year.
• Collaborate with neonatologists and neonatal nurse practitioners in a Level II NICU.
• Work with maternal-fetal medicine specialists to manage high-risk pregnancies.
• Conduct OB triage, admissions, attend deliveries, and provide inpatient care.
• Cover the OB floor and handle GYN emergencies.
• Assist in surgical procedures during Cesarean sections and respond to emergencies in the labor and delivery unit.
• Permanent, full-time position; residency within the local area required.
