Job Description :

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team. Part-time and Full-time shifts - day or evening - are available. The LPN will provide basic nursing care to patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN) or physician. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care. Responsibilities :

  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing wound care, and assisting with daily living activities.
  • Monitor and record patient vital signs, symptoms, and medical history, reporting any changes to the RN or physician.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans under the direction of an RN.
  • Conduct routine clinical tasks, such as collecting samples for laboratory tests and performing basic diagnostic procedures.
  • Educate patients and their families about health management and post-treatment care.
  • Ensure the comfort and safety of patients by providing emotional support and answering any questions or concerns.
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient records and documentation in accordance with healthcare regulations and company policies.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care and progress.
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
  • Stay current with nursing practices and continue professional development through ongoing education and training.

    • Requirements / Qualifications :

  • Valid and unrestricted LPN license in Iowa.
  • Completion of an accredited practical nursing program.
  • Current CPR / BLS certification.
  • Previous nursing experience in a clinical setting preferred but not required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Compassionate nature and a genuine desire to help others.

  • High School Diploma / GED
  • LPN License

    • Experience :

  • Entry Level (0-2 years)
