Bilingual Inventory / Warehouse
We are seeking an Inventory Control Supervisor to become a part of our team! You will manage the inventory team and direct daily operations related with purchasing and all the material is moving in warehouse and stores.
Summary
Highly motivated, focused and detail-oriented individual to manage inventory, set pricing, and analyze trends to optimize sales and ensure market competitiveness for a retail feed and garden store.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Inventory management of existing inventory / products to include regular auditing of inventory count and accurate forecastingMaintain monthly inventory and aleatory daily.Ability to identify fast moving inventory, slow moving inventory, and non-moving inventory based on utilization reports from an inventory software systemMaintain price and markup controls of productsTeam work with Accounting DepartmentComparative shopping of merchandise sold to ensure competitive pricesReceive and coordinate stocking new inventory, reconcile inventory, track and maintain inventory levels, count for existing and new inventory levelsReturn damaged or incorrect delivery of products to vendors to ensure refunds are received for that deliveryCreate and distribute daily / monthly inventory reports to managementCoordinate inventory controls with in-store buyersManage vendor data input in alignment with back office Accounting ManagerCollaborate with management, buyers, and staff of the retail store regarding products related to in-house buying practices and trendsAbility to assess and deliver inventory reports to above mentioned teams (moving from a manual tracking process to an automated reporting process with a new point of sale system)Support the back-office Accounting Manager organizing accounting files for vendors and purchase ordersSupervise Warehouse employees.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
Strong communication and collaboration skillsAttention to detail, highly organized, decisive, and mature thinkerExperience in receiving and reconciliation of product and inventory controlsExperience in comparative shippingRequired technical skills to work within inventory software in order to compile / upload inventory data into excel reports regarding usage, calculation and tracking of all markup costs associated to merchandiseMust possess multitasking skills in answering real time questions and phone calls between staff, customers, and vendorsMust be comfortable walking and standing for extended amounts of time and be able to lift-move boxes when receiving inventoryMust possess the ability to learn information about product usage and plant and animal care to assist in day-to-day operationsDetail orientedMust "Experience driving forklift"Job Type : Full-time
